About Us

SERVING THE COMMUNITY SINCE 1957

The Sweet Home Federal Credit Union was founded in 1957 by a group of Sweet Home employees seeking a financial institution that would offer favorable interest rates on savings and loans. The credit union has grown to serve the community of the Town of Amherst and the Town of Tonawanda. We currently serve over 3,000 members with assets exceeding $40 million. The credit union originally consisted of just a general ledger book and metal strongbox but today we occupy a building at 1960 Sweet Home Road. If you are eligible for membership, please contact us for a membership application.
