Join us for our upcoming Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Election! This is a great opportunity to get involved with your credit union, vote on important leadership roles, and enjoy a meal with your fellow members.

RSVP Information: Space is limited! A dinner reservation is required and is limited to the first 150 members who submit their request using the form below. Please note that a $10.00 deposit is required to stay for dinner.
No deposits will be refunded for cancellations or no-shows.
Board of Directors Election
This year, there are two (2) positions open for election on the Board of Directors, each for a three-year term. After careful review, the Nominating Committee has submitted the following incumbent for nomination:
Nominee Spotlight: Carol Parker (3-Year Term)
Incumbent Carol Parker has been a Sweet Home FCU member for over eight years and joined the Board in March 2022. She brings extensive leadership experience from a 31-year career at Quest Diagnostics , where she managed 50 people as group lead for the AMBA Wellness Program. After retiring in November 2022, Carol remains active by working part-time at Quest and administering weekend AMBA programs.
Additional Nominations & Voting Rules
- Further nominations may be made by official petition signed by at least 1%, or 27 eligible Sweet Home FCU members.
- Official petitions can be obtained at the Credit Union office located at 1960 Sweet Home Rd, Amherst NY 14228.
- Petitions must comply with election rules and include each signer’s signature, printed name, account number, complete address, and telephone number.
- Petitions must also include a signed statement from the nominee agreeing to the nomination and accepting the office if elected.
- Completed petitions must be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Directors at the Credit Union office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026.
- There will be no nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
- If there is only one nominee for each open position, the election will not be conducted by ballot and nominees will be elected by the casting of one vote.
- If there is more than one nominee for any position, voting will take place at the Annual Meeting using ballot boxes.
Absentee Voting: Members unable to attend may submit a written request for an absentee ballot. Requests must be addressed to the Secretary of the Board of Directors and received by Friday, May 1, 2026.
