If someone at your house is graduating in the spring, this one is for them. Sweet Home FCU is partnering with the New York Credit Union Association (NYCUA) to offer scholarships to members who are heading to college or trade school in the fall of 2027.
The scholarship money can be used for tuition and room and board, and it can also help cover books and supplies.
Who can apply
- Graduating high school seniors who are Sweet Home FCU members in good standing.
- Students starting at a two- or four-year accredited college for the first time in the fall of 2027.
- Students heading to a vocational or trade school are eligible too.
- Judging looks at your academic record and your activities outside the classroom, along with your essay.
How to apply
The application is on the NYCUA scholarship site. (click to view)
- Create an account there, fill out the application, and upload your transcript and your essay.
- The deadline is January 15, 2027.
- Winners will be announced in early May 2027.
We’re mailing the details to our high school seniors, but everything you need is at the application link. If your senior isn’t a member yet, ask us about joining. They need to be a member to apply.
