Community Relations & Social Media Coordinator

Sweet Home Federal Credit Union is hiring a Community Relations and Social Media Coordinator.
Do you enjoy connecting with people, building relationships and finding creative ways to make a difference in the community?
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Build relationships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations.
- Develop and coordinate community outreach programs and events.
- Help expand our financial literacy and youth education efforts.
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Use photography, graphics, and short-form video to tell the credit union's story.
- Identify new opportunities for the SHFCU to support and engage with its community.
- Develop, present, and manage a budget for community relations and social media initiatives.
We’re especially interested in someone who is creative, organized, comfortable meeting people and genuinely committed to community involvement.
We believe that one’s talent, experience, and ability to connect with people aren’t measured by a diploma, so a college degree is not a requirement for this position. The credit union values relevant experience, demonstrated ability, strong communication skills, creativity, community involvement, and a willingness to take initiative.
Salary range: $52,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Member Services Representative / Teller

- Full-Time Status
- Mon - Fri
- $17.00-$21.00 an hour
Role Overview
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and transfers with high speed and accuracy.
- Provide friendly, welcoming assistance to members in person and over the phone, reinforcing our trust-based culture.
- Proactively identify member needs and introduce helpful credit union solutions, including savings accounts, credit cards, and digital banking tools.
- Balance the cash drawer daily and adhere strictly to internal audits, security guidelines, and compliance protocols.
- Process administrative tasks such as mail-in deposits, night drop-box verification, and bank card ordering.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of financial institution teller or heavy retail cash-handling experience.
- Comfortable working with specialized core banking software and digital teller systems.
- Excellent active listening and communication skills to resolve member issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical math skills with a proven history of balanced drawers and attention to detail.
Work Environment
This role operates inside a modern, professional, and climate-controlled branch lobby. The position requires remaining standing or sitting behind the teller line for extended periods, operating standard office hardware, and communicating extensively with community members in a fast-paced environment. Hours include standard business hours.
